PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AUDITING SERVICES FOR NEW ORLEANS REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Notice is hereby given that Request for Proposals for Auditing Services will be received by the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) at 1340 Poydras St., Suite 600, New Orleans, LA 70112 no later than October 31, 2011, at 4:00pm CST. NORA requests that the proposing firm or individual provide auditing services to NORA. The firm or individual shall be responsible for the performance of an audit in accordance with the requirements of Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133 and the requirements of GASB 34 for the year ending December 31, 2011, with a one year renewable option (for up to three years total) at NORA’s discretion. The selected firm would also be called upon to provide independent accounting assistance as NORA may from time to time deem necessary or appropriate in the discharge of its responsibilities.
