NORA is providing $500,000 in Commercial Corridor Gap financing and a $37,500 Façade Renew Storefront Improvement grant for the substantial historic rehabilitation of one of the last remaining vacant buildings along this stretch of Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard in Central City. Once completed, the renovated structure will contain over 8,000 SF of office space to be anchored by Gulf Coast Housing Partnership, with the remainder of space fronting the commercial corridor occupied by Gideon Community Development Corporation and a new retail tenant.
