Façade RENEW is a commercial revitalization grant program that provides reimbursement grants for commercial property and small business owners along select commercial corridors to enhance the appearance of retail facades.

The program reimburses 75% of the total project costs for improvements up to $37,500 per commercial property and up to 100% of the total project costs for improvements up to $50,000 per commercial property for eligible applicants impacted by temporary loss of revenue or business interruption (evidenced by award of Paycheck Protection program, Economic Injury Disaster Loan, and/or Louisiana Main Street Recovery Program funds in 2020 or 2021).

All façade improvements made with grant dollars under the Façade RENEW program are required to be maintained for a minimum of 5 years.

The Façade RENEW Program has a two-part application process which includes Part A: Pre-Application Verification and Part B: Detailed Program Application. The Part A application can be accessed below. Part B will be sent directly to the applicant once the proposed project is deemed eligible and Part A is approved.
